LIEs always serve up music that slaps you round the face somehow or other,
but this is an absolutely devastating 11-track double pack from Bari's own
DJ Plant Texture. The Italian cooks up raw, relentless techno designed free
from fads and instead just stripped down to its fiercest, most
uncompromising essence. There are lashes of razor-edge acid on
'Variazione,' mind-melting, bell-like synths on 'Oscillazione' and equally
bright, pixel-thin electronic meltdowns on 'Decadimento'. The only place
for these is a blackened, grotty space with a solitary strobe flashing
until you can take no more.
